All fans of animation and family films have been looking forward to the release of Monsters vs Aliens back in 2009. It was produced by DreamWorks Animation, the company that made such hits as Shrek and Madagascar, and this time ventured into the world of science fiction as a theme.Monsters vs Aliens tells the story of Susan Murphy (voiced by Reece Witherspoon), a common American girl is happy to marry her boyfriend Derek Dietl (Paul Rudd), who knows a bit of fame discreet as TV weatherman. However, their wedding day is interrupted when a meteor crashes to Earth, landing on Susan and their leader to absorb quantonium. This causes a strange reaction, as Susan becomes a giant.Provoke a major military U.S. government, is the extra high Susan captured and placed in a secure jail with other monsters, the government has taken over the years. She quickly becomes friends with them. There's BOB (voice of Seth Rogen), a blue spot with one eye and not the brightest monster in the world. There is also Dr. Cockroach (Hugh Laurie) is an eccentric scientist who has a crazy wide devices you can make anything around him. The woman and the ape-fish The Missing Link (Will Arnett) and finally Insectosaurus (who never speaks), which is a giant insect, which is even larger than Susan. When the Earth is facing an alien threat, the U.S. government decides that the only way to save the world is to exploit the supply of monsters in captivity. So begins the battle Monsters vs. Aliens. The story is well constructed and the pace is fast but not too much that it becomes too confusing. It held the attention of children and adults and will be especially appreciated by fans of old movies like King Kong and more modern, such as ET and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and there are plenty of winks and knowing Classic Movies this genus. It is a pleasure in the old tradition of good versus evil romp with a lot of exciting scenes and cartoon violence. It is never too scary and PG rating seems very fair. The team of monsters are very friendly and each has its own personality. Susan is also a good and everyone goes through a journey through the film, so they can develop and discover strengths they never knew they had.The animation itself is very well done and details are excellent. The individual strands of hair move is particularly impressive, if the head of Susan and Insectosaurus Platinum Blonde hairy body.It is also very funny, with some great one-liner and a dash of mind. It's a movie that all ages will find entertaining. The characters are cute and interesting, the story has its attention at all times and spend 90 minutes. Great entertainment for the family all round - ideal for keeping children a good time during the school holidays!
